Homily for 12-6-09 The 2nd Sunday in Advent:
"If we are to be delivered, we must first un-deceive ourselves!"
Father Richard S. Jones was ordained a priest for the Church of Pittsburgh on May 21, 1988, by Bishop Donald W. Wuerl.
Born in Pittsburgh, his father- Presbyterian, and mother, Catholic raised seven children in the Catholic faith. He grew up in the Greentree area of Pittsburgh where he attended SS Simon and Jude Parish.
